About a month ago my husband and I finalized the details of a 2 year adventure relocating to Bonn, Germany. He has a teaching contract and I will be busy learning the language. Our boys are enrolled in the local International School where they will also be learning German (along with the other 6th and 4th grade subjects). While this is extremely exciting, it is also nerve wracking! My business will take a major pivot to only what I can offer online (on-demand and in-person zoom classes, and my flower timing guide for Southern California). My social media will be more about German flower timing and learning to navigate gardening in a new climate. It's a lot! We are also going to be renting out our Pasadena home (also nerve wracking!). I've got my fingers crossed that we find someone with a green thumb who will keep my perennials alive until we return. If you've got any potential Pasadena renters, tips of German gardening, or suggestions for how to move internationally and stay sane (we are taking our cats! Yikes!) I'm all ears!
